Hey, chop, I had an S2000 too. Also, speaking of the Solstice and VX, I just bought their British counterpart - the Lotus Elise... she should be arriving in a couple weeks! (notice it matches my Proton!!!!)

The Lotus Elise is the coolest sports car I've ever seen, and can you believe they go for under $50k?! I saw one of those babies at a car show about a year ago and just loved it. I'm not sure I'll ever throw that type of money at a vehicle again, but if I had it to burn, that one would definitely be in my top 3. I personally like the grey one the best though.

    Ryan,

I've been watching the Elise market for 2 years. Right now, as the 2006's are coming in, winter is approaching, and there are lots fo '05s on lots, the market is FLOODED with used and new '05 model Elises. Add to that the introduction of the Exige to the US market for 06 and you have a MAJOR dip in demand. Granted, this is a temporary thing, and should right itself in a few months once the 05's are all gone from the dealer's lots, but right now is the perfect time to get yourself an Elise. Check eBay, you can get a brand new demo car never titled with 5k miles and full warranty for 10 or 15k under sticker. Used cars, you can get an even better deal!!!

Case in point: here's a fully loaded Elise with a sticker price somewhere around $52k, about 3000 miles on it, on eBay for $39k ($13k under sticker!):

Factory Five? I changed my mind. Really, I love the cobra, but since I live in a condo and don't have a garage, it doesn't make sense for me at all.
