    Wink

Do ya have a WWJD bracelet?, cause if Jesus was a VX'r HE would cut the cladding....seriously, it's so easy & so minor you really need not worry.
I used a Japan saw (cuts on the pull stroke & is VERY sharp)

I agree with Joe.... Work out another solution. Chop/grind/angle grinder/chainsaw/melt it off with your heat vision;however you alter that cladding, and there is no situation that will put it back. I do more resto work than anyone should have to. Nothing (except rust) causes more angst than body work some knucklehead chopped at for some seemingly crazy reason . Lift it a bit. No big deal. Inch an' a half...you are there. I don't know what Andrew Jackson would do if he were a VXer, but I am pretty sure you should do what ever YOU like with your car.

    *sigh*

Man.... I told you so. Some do, some dont. Should have come as no surprise one way or the other. Just trim slowly and take your time. It's really no big deal. You should see the trimming I had to do when I mounted mine on the newer rims. It would make you feel a WHOLE LOT better about the little trimming you have to do.

    Bayonet

I sawed my cladding down with a custom serated Russian WWII Bayonet.
It was all I could find that day.

    Arrow

Here ya go, the only parts you'd need: ARB OME 912 Springs on eBay.

The rest is just a few hours labor up front and you'll be golden.
