Door handle????????

Sounds like the rod to the outside handle came off somehow.. Can't see how the tinter would have anything to do with it if he was just working on the rear unless he locked the keys in and had to slim jim it open. Shouldn't be too hard to fix.

well I am having the same problem now.. the clip on the rod that attaches to the handle broke.. is there a special way to install this.. clip in hole first then attach rod or clip on rod and then forcefully rape the hole in the handle.. I have tried both..no luck so far..thinking about a clip some how that will slip over the end after it is in the handle to keep it from sliding out.. any suggestions?

Ok..duh Me.. I used the original half broken clip and it held.. so I put the panel back on and called it good till the next time..

(you would think since I have owned this since it was new I would be alot more familiar with it.. guess that's why I only got 36000 miles on it.. on the road way too much..)
