Those old 1st-Gen Troopers are just awesome, especially the TD models. They still command a good price on the used market thanks in part to getting nearly 30MPG. The only weakness was that the transmission never received a good upgrade until the latter half of 1988.

The 2nd-Gen Troopers with the peppier 3.1L Intercooled Turbo Diesel may not have the visual personality of the earlier utility box, but they've got the get up and go to match the grunt...
