Remote start has caused problems, if you get that feature, make sure they know this and do it right

Why is the alarm worthless?

It may not be worthless, but I've ran into, thrown, hit, stumbled, and cracked my car without any hint of an alarm going off. Not to mention it's not connected to the rear door. It probably is worth something...to someone...somewhere.
