    nothing ever gets close to hitting my oil pan, much less the bolt...as I have the diamond plate steel skidplate. and with the fram oil drain it has a protective screw on cover and also you have to have the cover removed and the hose screwed on which releases the oil.

    Question

    Spazz, if you lose or misplace the 2nd piece to that Fram get-up can you still drain the oil?

    you sure can...just find something to push up the valve, or just remove it as you would a normal drain bolt.
