I did a search on "remove headlight" without the "", came up with 17 results and a plethora of info on the covers.. I even used the search the title of your thread using the title search feature next to the title input field when you start a thead, it showed approximately 7 results, one was titled "Crazing" which may fit your problem.
Make sure it is on the inside as there has been some documentation of the top outer surface hazing.. Some have been replaced and some have been polished.

I cleaned mine up very nicely with special polish /cleaner designed for plexiglass. They came out crystal clear. Old age is setting in again...LOL.For the life of me I can't remember the name of it but it was purchased at a specialty glass shop. I hope this helps.

I sanded mine w/1500 then 2000 (wet/dry) using warm water and ivory soup and a sponge finger pad, then machine polished using "BlueMagic" Plastic & Plexiglass Cleaner, I picked up at the local Auto Zone. It turned out very nice...good luck

Scott,
I'm with you, that Ivory soup always leaves a nasty aftertaste...but still not as bad as LAVA or Irish Spring.![]()
If it's condensation, remove the headlights or otherwise check to see if the assemblies have vent tubes and clear them if needed. Remove the bulbs without touching the glass (at this point you may want to clean the housings' insides with clean or distilled water and maybe ivory?, but use their SOAP, the soup might leave discoloration or oily residue. Ventilate the housings with a blowdryer or compressed air till COMPLETELY! dry (plan on a weekend where you can keep them indoors). Reinstall
