I'm all signed up to go but I have this one small issue, I'm one of those people who cant find their way out of a paper bag. Is there anybody from the Rye, Hampton, seacoast area I could caravan with?
Another quick question; How long is everyone staying and where are you staying? Hotel, campground, what are our options?
Well, the plan is for a one day meet but there is plenty do around this area if you feel like hanging out for the weekend.
Lots of campgrounds available, hotels, motels, country Inns...you name it.
If anyone is planning on staying the weekend you had better book now because there are going to be a lot of Antique Car Nuts in town for the big car show at "Hildene" (on Saturday and Sunday) and there is also the antique sports car rally at Equinox Mountain(scheduled for Saturday).
We have a couple of VXers in NH...you should be able to caravan over easily
(UNEVENTHOUGHTS get a hold of VEHIX).
As long as everybody can find Vermont Route 7 you are there...this Route runs right through Manchester.

T-Minus 16 days and counting....
Getting closer guys and gals....We have 10 members on the list so far to head to Manchester, VT for the New England Meet.
Anyone else out there want to join us???
I have prepared some "goodie bags" and "Dash Plaques" for everyone who attends.
For those of you coming from N.H.- Either take Route 101 to Keene, to Brattleboro and then follow Route 30 to Manchester or find VT Route 4 in the Northern part to Rutland and take Route 7 south to Manchester.
Those coming from MA- take MA Route 2 from Boston to Route 91 to Brattleboro then follow Route 30 to Manchester.
From CT & RI-Take Route 91 to Brattleboro then follow Route 30 to Manchester.
We should all meet at "The Inn @ Manchester" on Route 7A around 10-ish and go forth from there. Look for the ISUZU flag flying in the breeze.

Sounds good John, we'll see you there!
Thanx for putting this together.

Hey Gang.....
Here is a quick update on what we can expect on June 11th:
(This is what I have lined up as of right now)
1. Coffee and danish breakfast at the Inn@Manchester on Route 7A around 10-10:30 am.
2. An Off Road excusion through the Green Mountain National Forest.
3. I have lined up the Land Rover Off Road Driving School to teach us how to navigate an off-road course(right now it's a mud bog...more fun). The course is taught with Land Rover Vehicles for insurance reasons. If anyone is interested in this there is a fee of around $60-80.00(not quite sure of exact fee yet...trying to work a deal with one of my buddies). You will be guaranteed a good course and it's well worth it. One of the instructors,my friend, is a "VX Freek" as well as a "Rover Nut". Who ever decides not to participate in this event can be free to do whatever untill about 3:30 pm. We will meet back at the Inn@ Manchester for our event #4.
4. After 4 pm we can climb up the winding 5 mile trail to the top of Mount Equinox. Since there is a Vintage Sports Car speed Hill-Climb event running there all day,we won't be allowed up until 4pm. The views are awesome!!
There should be time for some shopping and or sightseeing. But keep in mind this is Vermont and all the Outlet stores close at 6 pm sharp(and the sidewalks are rolled up at 6:15 pm)
If this sounds good to everybody then I will make the final preps.
ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE JOINING US????

Rooster and UnevThoughts...if you two can meet up just follow 101 to Keene and then on toward Brattleboro, VT. Once you cross the bridge take a left and you are on Route 5, There you hook a right up onto Route 30 towards Manchester,VT. Piece of cake!
We are all meeting at the INN @ MANCHESTER on Route 7A South around 10 (ish) for coffee and breakfast pastry. Just look for the ISUZU Flag on the front lawn and my IronMan in the driveway out front.
See you there!

I wont be able to make the meet on Saturday, work just wont let me go right now. We let a few people go last week and I've been stuck with the extra shifts till we find replacements (which should have been done by now). That coupled with a last minute family get together scheduled for Sunday put a crip in the whole weekend. Maybe next time guys, Thanks -Rick
Hey Uneven,
I know how you feel. I wont be able to make this meet either. I just started a new job this week and got suckered into working every Saturday til July. The only thing cool about it is that for every saturday I work this month I'll get every friday, saturday off next month with pay. So the money comes in handy for my little mans 1st birthday in August. Since it is his 1st birthday I want to make it alittle bigger than the norm and all you guys will diffently be invited.
