The front edge of the front cladding. When you turn your wheels, look at the cladding, from the wheel well looking forward, the cladding (Plastic) that is closest to the tire may need to be trimmed for clearence.

Knew I'd be of help somehow! That picture (and others) were taken right after I put those 31" tires on. Check out my gallery for more pics. Trimming is only needed on non-lifted VehiCROSSes with 31" tires, or lifted VehiCROSSes with even bigger tires... correct?
