Depending on the severity of the scratch will determine which route you may go. If the scratch is light (clearcoat scratched not the paint), then you can go to any detailer with a power buffer and buff the clearcoat.

However, if the scratch is deep (penetrating both clearcoat and paint down to the metal), then seeking advice from local paint shops about doing spray touch-up or localizing the paint job would still be more economical than painting the whole vehicle. However, if you want to change the whole vehicle's color, then it would be worth paying for the higher (better quality) paint job in the long run than your cheapo (earl sheib) quicky job.

I personally wouldn't use stickers to cover up the scratch unless you plan to use the large removable vinyl stickers that cover the entire upper half of the vehicle and advertise a company of some sort. Which may be worth your while as the company sponsoring the advertisement will pay you for your troubles. Although, I believe you will be obligated to drive your vehicle a certain number of miles and/or display in very public areas depending on the needs of your sponsor.

Good luck and let us know which way you go with.
