    5-8672-2031 isn't a valid Isuzu part number.

5-86722-031-0 would be a valid number, for example. Missing a number in there somewhere. Get me a valid part number and I might be able to locate some flaps.

Chances are it aint gonna happen. These OEM mud guards were not made available in the U.S., only Japan. The Japan inventory of these things was very limited and is now gone. In fact, I had heard from several sources in Japan that even the mold had been completely retired and any future manufacturing of these is not possible by Isuzu.

Unless my information is wrong, but I was very thorough when investigating this some time ago when N1 was offering them for sale.

The flaps that Tone mentions - from Pep Boys - are the best I aftermarket flaps I have seen for the VX ....... yet.
    .
Former VX owner 'Jumpnugly' had Pep Boys flaps installed - check the gallery for potential shots of these flaps.
    .
A search on 'mud' ..... 'flaps' ...... or 'Pep Boys' ........ should bring up a thread or two on the Pep Boys flaps ..... one thread may have the part number for the flaps that fit the VX well. I believe I jotted down the part numbers and posted them.

That's a Japanese market part number pulled directly from the install instruction sheet (it's also the number in the Japanese accessory catalog that my second link at the bottom shows) - that's why it's not showing for you. As I said in my post, I don't believe you will find these unless there are some in a warehouse someplace.

Hey John - the flaps, actually called "sprash guards" - went on all 4 wheel well openings. They are hard to see in normal light because they are made from the same material and are the same color as the cladding.

I went with the chromed mudflaps a few years ago. Here are a couple of pics from my gallery showing them on my VX. I'm pretty sure I bought them from either Autozone or Advance.
