    BF Goodrich A/T Tire fans

Just to let some of you BF guys no. They do make tires to fit the 18 inch rims in the T/A KO, and the long trail T/A. I don't know the availability, but I was on thier website and found some sizes in the 18 inch rim diameter. I am thinking about getting them next time I need tires. They last forever and are extremely durable.

TireRack lists the 285/65R18 BFG A/Ts for $216.00 apiece.
They (BFG) recommend an 8.5" rim.

Those 65's will never fit without jacking up the truck. A/T's are very square and the corner will cut right into the cladding when you turn. I wish they made them in our size... that's the best tire ever made IMHO.

Yeha I realy wanted those tires too. Right now I'm torn between the Nitto Terra grappler,Goodyear Fortera HL, and the Michelin Pilot LTX. They all come in 285/60R18 but I haven't figured out which is best for me.

Hi There: Have you actually tried mounting a set of BFG A/T 285/65R18 on the OEM 18x7 rim??? If so, did the front tires rub on the front cladding when turning??? The only true way to find out is to try it. I have a stock 2001 VX with OEM 18x7 rims and want to put on a set of the 285/65R18 BFG A/T's -- Has anybody out there actually done this to a stock VX???

ya i was wondering how much trimming there had to be done to put an 285/65R18 on a non lifted VX, i already have 285/60R18 and there is no rubbing probably previous owner trimmed the cladding a little but there doesnt seem to be any work done under the wheel well

I'm running 265/75R16s on my JDM one. They've required some "modification" of the arches because the shoulders are so square rather than the rolling radius.

They grip like s**t to a blanket too

Negative Ghostrider. We are talking about the 285/65R18 BFG A/T if in fact it will not rub on the front cladding when mounted on the OEM 18x7 rim and installed on a factory stock VX (non-lifted). Does anybody out there have the 285/65R18 BFG A/T's mounted on the OEM 18x7 rim on a stock VX???
