I was thinking of adding some kind of sound deading material just because I have a pv2/supercharger and the back seat is removed and it gets pretty loud. I noticed when I have the back loaded with snowboard gear the sound is considerably less so I think the mat would be great to reduce sound.

Did you notice a big difference with road noise?

Definitly...road noise is greatly reduced. I have even removed my side window deflectors because they also added to road noise. The theory is that vibrating metal causes the noise, much as a speaker pushes air, and the dynamat absorbs the energy and reduces vibration.

I can help you get started but we wouldn't be able to do it all in 1 day.
