What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?
I wouldn't want to deny you the satisfaction of doing it yourself. It wasn't too hard and I found quite fun actually. The local audio shop quoted me $1350 parts and labor. Let's see...I spent $275 for brown bread (including shipping...but still have .5 of rear door to purchase). Estimated time to do the job is 40 hours, so how much per hour did I 'earn' ? Answer: $1075/40 equals $22 per hour

I was thinking of adding some kind of sound deading material just because I have a pv2/supercharger and the back seat is removed and it gets pretty loud. I noticed when I have the back loaded with snowboard gear the sound is considerably less so I think the mat would be great to reduce sound.
Did you notice a big difference with road noise?
Definitly...road noise is greatly reduced. I have even removed my side window deflectors because they also added to road noise. The theory is that vibrating metal causes the noise, much as a speaker pushes air, and the dynamat absorbs the energy and reduces vibration.
Hey Don,
Gonna have to get you over to my place and help me intall mine. I'll supply the beer and food!

I can help you get started but we wouldn't be able to do it all in 1 day.
Takes about 15 hours. Worth the time and $$.
