If you are into the VX and can now reasonably afford one, I would say "Welcome to the Club!" I most definitely would buy a VX again - I keep thinking about buying a second one.

I think you have most of the things you should consider covered in your list above - you may want to look at the shocks and check to see how much and what mods have been done (intake, exhaust) then factor in any features like roof racks, hitch, etc.
