You can try calling this number.

    Isuzu Owner Relations Department

    (800)255-6727
    6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (PST)
    Monday to Friday

I gave them a call to determine the same info about what the warranty would be before purchasing my VX about a month ago. All I had to do was supply the VIN#.

Be prepared for a possibly long wait on hold though...

I am the third owner of my 2000 Ironman. To my surprise, I was recently informed upon my 60K service at Isuzu that I happened to have a 60k warranty on the whole drive train. I had no idea. Instead of charging me $630 for the service to be done, it was only $450 because of the warranty.

And to top it off, I picked my VX up from Isuzu yesterday, with a new tranny I never thought I needed. A $4000 gift. I have 58k miles on it. That was my reward for being anal and getting my 60k service at 58k
From Unimog to VX - a serious change in velocity - a small sacrifice in voracity.
