OT - vehicle in a movie

There was a VW Thing in the movie, but her father did not drive it.

Drew Barrymore drove the orange VW Thing - her father drove the orange and white vehicle I am referring to. I initially thought it was an older Land Cruiser, but discovered that it wasn't when I looked them up on eBay.
