Interesting! Pretty entertaining, but all in all, not a real positive review of the car, eh?

LOL! The negative reviews are expected. When you inject a car with crack its bound to freak you out big time. Overall thats exactly what we need out of all car campanies. Can you imagine 500 limited editions VX with 400HP engine? All OEM ofcourse...

I just wish the Evo wasn't so damn ugly!

C6 Z06 looks hot. Should demolish Vipers on the track, considering the C5 Z06 pushed them around quite a bit.

I imagine the waiting list for the Z06 is going to be huge.

What are the estimated costs of each?

The sad thing is this- NO ONE MAKES ENGINE INTERNALS FOR ISUZUS. All we would need is forged internals, and this sucker would take power like few can.

We have boring possibilities, stroking possibilities, polished intakes and exhaust possibilities, boost up to maybe 12 psi intercooled (turbo of course), cams, lightened pulleys, etc. th60 tranny swap to stock drivetrain, headers and exhaust in general,

We already have a block with a 6 bolt main, dual intake runners, DOHC, direct ignition, serpentine belt, fly by wire throttle, the possible addition of direct injection w/ an axiom swap, on and on.

If you compare the Subaru EJ25 engine, I think the ony real big benefit it has in design is a semi closed deck, and variable valve timing that make more efficient power than the Isuzu 6ve1. If a 2.5 boosted engine gets 300 horsepower 300 torque, then our engine tuned similarly would yield 360 hp, and 375 torque fairly easiy. I know this is probably way underestimated too, and the ej25 can waaaaay easily get up to 400 which would make is up to 420 horse and probably 445 torque.

Maybe a machinist will come to our rescue, but I doubt it. LOL

I wasn't aware that there weren't forged parts available for our engine. I thought just no one bothered swapping out internals. Who would we go to for something like that? Is it something that we could get produced on a small scale?

Freaking hell... for that you could get a Noble M12 - 350hp and 2200 lbs. - it would beat the Evo on a track, AND is way better looking in my opinion (2 door MR vs. 4 door AWD)

sweet sweet corvette... so friggin sweet... that is so sweet man... now all chevy has to do bring back a full size caprice and impala SS with that LS2 engine, and i'll be happy... but then i dont gm wants me to be happy... could u imagine a 9C1 Police package caprice with an LS7???? ultimate police interceptor... sometimes i think gm is losing it, but with the new corvette... they are back on the ball... The LS7 is also known as the Blue Devil, GT40 Killer. HAIL GM! God save the king.
I want a VX. I am going to buy one. Soon.

Problem with this evo is that by slapping on a bigger turbo(which is basicaly what they did) you also get turbolag.
So you're better off with the standard version, it's cheaper, no lag and has (almost) same performance.
VX : CLOSEST THING TO A CONCEPT CAR!

Does anyone know if the V6 misubishi is related to the Isuzu?

This would open a lot of possibilities!

The Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution / Montero Evolution differs from the older 2002-specification in terms of exterior body styling and dimensions. It is 113 mm longer than the older model, 39 mm wider and has a wheelbase 180 mm longer than its predecessor. Both the front and rear track have been extended by 22 mm. The new T2 model is powered by a revised 6G74, six-cylinder, 3,497cc, 24-valve MIVEC V6 engine and utilises ECI multi-injection and a six-speed transmission. Ralliart claims the unit produces 270 bhp at 6,000 rpm and a massive 36 kg-m of torque at 3,500 rpm.

there is no such thing as no turbo lag.that is the problem with all turbos.that is why it is better to use a supercharger, no lag. shawn

but when ur acutally racing and ur car is pretty well tuned with a decent size power band, lag really isnt a problem. but on a supercharger u might acutally lose some power cause of the direct connection with the engine, like running the ac. and on a street car the turbo acutally acts sort of like a muffler and helps dampen the sound, so u can have a better flowing exhaust.

The Mitsi 6, and Isuzu 6 are unrelated... The" turbo lag" can be engineered out to the point of almost imperceptability... Think German. I like turbo charging---no hp. spent pumping air. Yea, that Pajero is a honey, huh? HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!
