14 years ago I started out as a teacher in a small town.
Since I was the only one who really knew his way around on a computer I was asked to fill in a couple of hours computer class.
During those first years I had a student who was always screwing around with the pc's and said he had better things to do with his life.
After he had left school he started a buying and trading site here in the Netherlands called Marktplaats(Market place)
The site site is extremely user friendly anwas totally free for the first five years.After five years all transactions under 200 euro's were still free and a bove that amount a modest fee was asked.
I opened the newspaper this morning and read:
"e-bay has offered marktplaats 250 mln. dollars"to take over the site!
THAT STUDENT CERTAINLY HAD BETTER THINGS TO DO WITH HIS LIFE!

CEO is worth $1+ billion
Founder is worth $10 billion

Buddy of mine was 200th employee and he is only worth 1/2 a million in stock options... maybe a little more of late since their price has really gone up.

I could have been 1000th employee but after seeing the hit he took I figured why bother
