anyone make a gauge like this?

my room mate got a new Z71, and his tells him how much farther he can go with how much gas hes got. I really like that. Does anyone know if there is a guage out there that gives mile range?

Since we have a lot of GM compatible stuff, I want to say it wouldnt be impossible, but would be very extensive and expensive. A lot of sensors would have to be added, too. You might need to start with the Z71 type vehicles wiring diagrams to determine its inputs.

How acurate is his gauge? My axiom has on of these and it is often off by more than 80miles. Mine is not to be trusted.

i dont know how reliable it is, i just thought it was cool but if no one makes one then i guess im outta luck
