The VX is fairly quiet but, realize it is a truck. The actual handling is great I can compare it to my 1988 Acura Integra and it is a blast... Remember though, it is a truck.
Roof racks are available and you can get things for them.. Search and ye shall find.

There is a member that has 100k on his with very little problems. I'll let him comment.. (He's trying to write a review for me)

The VX is just plain fun to drive!!!!
