Power Button Question

Would it hurt the transmission to drive with the power button on all the time?

Did you try searching on this before posting? It will not hurt anything and many of us drive with it on all the time - I have personally removed the button completely.

I have had my power buttton on since I bought my VX. More power when I need it and mileage doesnt suffer.

I almost wish I never tried the Power Button. I always thought the VX was quick before I tried it. Now I use it almost all the time and find it's too much fun - it should say Turbo or Speeding Ticket. Thankfully no change on mileage.

Would you happen to be around Franklin Park, NJ - off rt 27? I have a Proton in NJ also and saw one there a few times. Maybe there should be a NJ meet. I spotted an Ironman on the parkway over the weekend.

As a matter of fact I do go up to Walmart in Franklin quite a bit. Never saw another Proton up there though. I saw one once coming off the Turnpike.
