Dealing with back up visibility issue

This is the start my backup system with rearview monitor that’s going to be dedicated to a camera. It’s pretty cheap in construction but I guess it’s a deal considering what I paid for it. There’s a 5 inch monitor with a hot wire for the reverse lights making it auto switch when you throw the truck in reverse; the second video input is connected to my dvd player for kicks right now. I’m still waiting for cam to arrive in the mail: a 30 led auto switch color/ IR cam that requires .00 lux with a 90 degree view and 25 ft range. These figures are the seller’s claim so I’m not sure as to the exact capability

Reverse visibility can be a BITCH! I found out how badly a 10" steel pole buried about six feet and filled with concrete feels at around .5 mph! OUCH! About took my head off since my headrests were out... didn't do my back door much good either! Oh well, live and learn... I will ALWAYS back into spaces from now on since you are less likely to have an accident that way. TTYL!
