Yanked Elbow CE light now on :<

I was so tickled when I felt the response after removing the elbows off of the air filter box. A day later I get the check engine light. I reset and it stayed off for about another hour's worth of riding, them the B*tch is on again. Any suggestions at all. I'm guessing o2 sensor.

Did you remove both elbows? I believe the preferred method is just the fender elbow. Only other suggestions are put it back to stock or have the code read. I think Pepboys will scan it for a small fee.

I have both the elbow on the intake box and in the fender removed and the honeycone filter out of the MAS and have had no problems. Go to AutoZone and they should read the code for free...

Double check the electrical connection to the MAS and that both clamps are tight. Air temp sensor might also have been pulled loose or a wire crimped.
