Oil on the outside of tappet pan

I was doing my weekly oil check and I notice I have oil on the outside of my right tappet cover (passenger side). I am about a quart low and between oil changes. The oil is dry but there is a considerable amount on the cover. Any ideas where the oil could be coming from?
The left side is as clean as a whistle. I have put about 1650 miles on it since the last oil change.

I seem to get a little dirt/oil residue around the filler cap. It does seem to spread to the valve cover. No visible leak just dust covered residue.

That could be my problem. Living here in Arkansas and on a dirt road, I do get a blanket of dust everytime someone passes by.

I will have it checked out next week. I got to take her to a ZuZu dealer. she's about out of the factory warranty. I am going to have them check everything out.

Thinking seriously about getting one of those extended warranty programs. My bank endorses one and it sounds pretty good.
I figure if it wasn't any good they wouldn't be passes out brochures.
