    Rancho RX9000 and Scorpions

Hey guys, I have just picked up my truck from a new awesome mechanics place in Dedham, MA called Phoenix Auto repair.

I had them put on my new Rancho RS 9000 and new pirelli Scorpion 255/70/16! The difference is awesome!! My truck handles better and looks better and I can't wait for the snow to test it out in the flakes. Next time there is a boston meet I can show off!

However, they told me that my jumping RPM and truck stalling problem is from a leaking intake manefold gasket. I was wondering if anyone had ever came across this issue and if that was the problem. Thanks

I would say that the gasket goes around the 50k mark. It'll just get little cracks in it and then you'll lose vacuum. You should also put some fuel injector cleaner through and check your fuel filter for crap.

Please let me know how much they are asking to replace the gasket. I need to do the same thing and the dealer quoted 300 if I recall correctly.

My VX has only 25000 mile on it, I have another car and rarely drive the VX. They told me that the part is $125 and labor will be about 1.5-2 hours, so all together about $200. This place is really good. It's called Phoenix auto in Dedham. Tell them Valentin reccomended their place and they will treat you real well
