Finally got the beast installed! As stated by others, It's not the funnest way to spend a weekend, but the final results are completely worth it.
Received my new throttle/cruise bracket + longer cruise cable & installed today,MUCH better. Why they don't ship the proper stuff in the first place HAS to be one of life's great mysterys.
BIG TIME thanks to Tone, for all help and helping me to keep my sanity during this ordeal. He always replied promptly to all my questions, going above & beyond the call more than a few times.
