    tirerack.com No Wheels Fit??

Ok, so I was interested in buying some new wheels so that I could then get some new shoes put on. But, when I inquired in some specs on a few wheels I was interested in, I was informed that tirerack.com carry's exactly 0 wheels that would fit our truck. I find this almost impossible, but can anyone tell me if this is true?

    Hello,
Grant here at The Tire Rack. The wheels for your Vehicross require a 6-139 bolt pattern and a 100mm center bore. None of
the wheel vendors we work with make any wheels in that configuration. Mille Miglia used to make the Mesa but have
discontinued the wheel due to low sales. There are no wheels in our inventory that will work for that fitment. That is why
we no longer list the vehicle in the wheel fitment section of our website. Thanks for your inquiry.

    NOT TRUE.

Just go back and put in 1999 Isuzu VehiCROSS. They list 4 different wheels. I have these on mine, in 17" and love'm.

So, basically some will fit I will just have to do my own research to find out if they have a 100mm center bore? Is that the only real thing that would cause them not to fit besides maybe offset?

No, all 4 wheels listed on the 1999 page will fit, but they are only 16" rims, except mine which also come in 17". Your stock rims are 18". I have the one's shown below with Pirelli Scorpions (255/60-17"), which is very, very close to your stock size of 245/60-18. Use this link when trying to figure out stock tires compaired to something else.

Also note my winter / off-road setup.

I have those ASA wheels with Kumho 275 60 17's. Car handles really well on the street, and great in light off road conditions. The car isn't for serious offroading (I have an F-350 for that), The look is awesome!!. The tires line up with the cladding as you look at it from the front and back. Couldnt be happier !

If i am not mistaken any 6 on 5.5" bolt wheel with a 100mm inner bore and a +15 to +10mm offset should fit just fine.

Yea, basically if they will fit on a Chevy full size P/U, they will fit the VX. But watch the offset.

Hey Rich, what size wheel do you have your 265/70-16 Dueler A/T Revo's mounted on? What width wheel, 7 or 8? Also, did you not get the 265/75-16 because they wouldn't sell them to you or because they didn't fit?

    .
not sure what your primary goal is with the wheel/tire switch ......
    .
but you may be downgrading a tad in the handling/cornering area by switching to a 16" 75 (series) tire ......... compared to the OEM 245-60-18 .. and especially if you are running a 255-55-18 ..
    .
if this is a concern - and it may not be - some of the others on this site can give you an idea on the differences between the 16's and the 18's on a VX .......

Yeah, I'd love to keep 18's, but if you want a good A/T tire its hard to find one that will fit and still give enough tread. I'm considering moving down just alittle to say a 17" because I can still find a couple of good A/T tires to fit those.

    Got ya ........
    .
although I do believe the Nitto Terra Grappler is avail in 255-55-18 and 285-60-18 sizes ........
    .
    I don't believe the 255-55 has a abundance of 'tread' though .......

Mounted on the stock 16" rim.
They said the 265/75's would not fit. I did not know then what I know now or I would have bought them anyway.
    Kasia is running a 265/75 I believe.
