LUBRICANTS: Transfer case oil spec is INCORRECT - should be DexronIII as well. Oil viscosity IS based on temperature to be operated in before next oil change as is Front and Rear diffs to a lesser degree - see your owners manual which states all of the above as well.

Fixed! Thanks for catching that Tone, it's cut-n-pasted from a Delphi servicing CD system a buddy got for his auto shop.

I'm a bit skeptical on the "oil change w/ filter capacity"...
Five quarts always brings mine up to the full mark.

Being this will eventually get lost in the archives, I'll copy this into the Knowledge Base These specs will be in caps and search able. At the top, you will find the whole list for printability.

    Great check list!!!

    .
This may be a DUMB question...

....but are these specs good for a 1999 model as well.
(Its only climate stuff and wheel size that are really different from a 1999 isnt it?)

Is Allignment different due to 18 inch wheels...shouldnt be????!!

    Thanks

Since the original data is from an ASE service book they tend to be a bit conservative on the oil capacity to keep some oil-pit jockey from overfilling. I typically use 5 quarts with a filter change using the Mobil-1 M104 filter, but do keep in mind that depending on the filter used your actual amount could vary by 1/2 quart. It's always better to run a little low than a little over on oil!
