    Cladding Material?

    Hey there VX nation!

I'm interested in getting the cladding covered in black Rhino-lining.
Only problem is that it will not adhere to certain types of plastic.
Does anyone know what type of plastic the cladding is made of?
    Thanks for any info!!

There are a VX or two that I have seen picture of with Rhino lining... if it has been done once it can be done again. If you haven't seen pictures, do a search... they're bound to show up. The one I recall most is white or silver with blue cladding... at least I think thats right! lol

    .
    Why ?
    .
I would leave the cladding alone.
    .
Again - as my Dad would say: Leave the #@!!% stuff alone !!!
    .
If the cladding (or VX ?) was beat up - that would be a different story.
    .
    (You may thank me someday).

Several members of this site have covered their body cladding with Line X and love it. Bob (Green Dragon) I think was the first to do it, so you may want to talk to him about the products endurance on the VX. Rhino, I think has been said to be too coarse.

Rhino lining is coarse and hard once cured, line-X is maleable after curing therefore giving flex with less of a chance of cracking. I believe only Line-X has been applied to the VX cladding as far as what I can remember has been posted. Do a search for Line-X and you should come up with some good information!!

Well, now that's always been the difference between "resistant" and "proof" now hasn't it.

Same tires I have anyway. But mine are listed in my gallery, not my profile.

31x10.5 16 BFG ATs. That was before some serious off road adventures removed a whole lot of the outer lugs! Soon they will be replaced with 33x10.5 15 Swamper TSL's w/black crawler rims for off roading. I'll then just throw some "normal" tires on the stocker rims for daily driving.

LINE X! Only way to go.Had mine a couple of years now ,No Cracking, peeling ETC Took some very hard bouder hits on the trails & the cladding just popped back out. Rhino Lining is much coarser texure doesn't look good.
