    TOD pulsing.. new tires?

It seems that ever since I put new tires on (265 60 18) which are a bit bigger then stocks, my TOD is engaging while driving on dry pavement on straightaway accelerations. The lights go all the way to the top and I can feel the TOD kicking in. It didn't use to do that. Once I get to speed, whichever speed it might (30, 55, etc) the TOD stays at just one dot lit up (normal I think).

Can just the tire change make it do this, or can it be a sign of something else going wrong?

    Mine too...

Mine does the same thing. I recently added Mud tires. The added mass to the rotation of the wheels creates a need for more torque. Thus... Torque on Demand... kicks in.

Recalibrator can help with that as well as correct the speedometer readout and ABS activation.

Wired to the speed sensor to send the correct data to the ECU. Install instructions http://www.vehicross.info/forums/showthread.php?t=6993

Thanks, Tone -- that makes sense. I think I might try out the recalibrator that you offer.

    ..

try disconnecting battery for about an hour then reconnect. Maybe that will help.

TOD would engage when I floored it from a dead stop even with the old stock tires. I just got new tires (terra grapplers) and it seems to do it more now especially up hill.

I don't think so... It's more of an annoyance, due to the strange surging in the acceleration.
