I'm game for a Monterey meet, 13 August, but I'd skip being part of an event requiring $120 to enter. The early-bird $60/$80 regular spectator fees strike me as a bit outrageous. Monterey will be beautiful in August, weather-wise. How about a VX coast drive cruise from Monterey to Santa Cruz?
