OK... are you serious?! We are talking about a CGI created ficticious commercial... your talking about ACTUALLY killing a living thing... am I over-reacting to your comparison? I in NO way condone killing a cat... I have two of the wonderful little getting-under-my-gimp-***-leg flee-bags... and ya know what... I'd NEVER hurt them and would inflict punishment to match anyone who was to harm them... or ANYONE elses pets for that matter. If your trying to play devil's advocate... kewl... but if your trying to put the two on the same level... I think your a little bit off. Poor taste commercial(s) sure but I am SURE there was NO harm done to the cat... if there was ever even a cat on that car! Geesh!
