    Cool Rear Cargo Storage unit

To add some storage to the rear of my VX I made a storage unit that fits nice and tight between the back of the rear seats and the rear door. That space was wasted in my opinion and the height of the unit helps create a flat area the full length of the rear area without removing the rear seat.

Scott that is an awesome mod. We keep the spare tire back there (our spare is a 33" and wont fit in the door). Looks like it would be very handy. Awesome job!

Nice job Scott! That is wasted space back there so I built a simple hinged box for stuff that just needs to be with me.

Heh, I just clutter my space with an isobaric subwoofer and amps.

MonchaVX... .that is very cool! Yours, too, Tone! Would you seriously consider making them for others? I'd buy! Or, it would be great to have the dimensions of all of the cut pieces, a "schematic" and a material list for those of us so inclined to tackle the project ourselves.

    Like it!

Hey deermagnet, I did the same thing with my cargo net, but for the bottom loops, I used the larger bolts from the rear seat bracket. That way you can still use your tie downs without worrying about cutting the loop.

They're all nice, I think I like the collapsable one best...leaves more seat configuration options and makes good use of the storage space.
