Welcome to the addiction...check out the Misc. Items for Sale and find a few post from Lizardmen3477. He's parting out some VXs and may have what you need...keep in mind the driveshaft may have been removed for a reason so don't be surprised if something is broken there.

    Hi Everybody

Hello to all the Vehicross fanatics out there. I met some of you at the Zoo at Moab last year, I am Catfish (Christine's) husband. We recently bought an Ironman I am hoping to get fixed up in time for Moab this year.

    VX Fan from the UK

    Hi All,
New to the forum but not new to VX's...
"Discovered" them by chance back in 2010, bought silver JDM and did a lot of tidy up and upgrade to make it usable as an everyday ride, until I came across David Wiltshire's low mileage blue VX which I could not resist and subsequently bought...and am using it everyday with a big smile on my face...
I still have the Silver VX and it is looking decidedly lonely on the front yard...
If anyone in the UK is interested in a VX please get in touch, it has been looked after since I have owned it, has some cosmetic blemishes, but a number of nice to have extra such as 2 new cyl heads fitted by recognised Isuzu expert, engine runs very sweetly and will fire at the first turn of the key even if left unused for months, a stainless steel exhaust and brakes were redone all round, with EBC discs and green stuff pads... It just needs TLC and it is a shame that it is not been driven...
If interested, please get in touch and can give you all the details and photos.
    Cheers,
    Fabrice

Hi VX group! I don't own one yet, but I am thinking about a damaged one or 2 that I have read about. I don't plan to restore mine, I want it reliable and fun and mostly rust free. These trucks already look great but shiny will be a bonus. I read here about a VX that jumped in front of a falling tree here in NC so I'm off to find out more.

    Hi Sculptor57

    Welcome !
Just be aware when buying a damaged VX...that body panels/cladding etc are rare/hard to source... and can be expensive.
Buying 2 VX's..a rear damaged AND a front damaged...and combining...may actually be more cost effective.

    Cheers

Names Karl... live in the Detroit area, but moving back to Fl in a few weeksup my 99 ironman edition about a month ago. After some routine maintenance. It's one of my favorites. And I'm a Jeep nut, and hard to convert. But it's won me over for sure. Can't wait to probe for info and hopefully find some vx'ers local!

Welcome. If I have any personal disdain for jeep owners, it's usually because I keep running into elitism amongst their ranks. Welcome to the dark side. We have cookies.

Thanks.. and I've never talked smack about other 4x4s. ALWAYS a chance I needed to be helped out. Just loved the wrangler since I was little. And have owned 7 different jeep models. (My favorite was the 1990 Wagoneer with the fake wood paneling ). But, I'm not a mud guy (bogging is huge in Fl) o want trails (very few local) and inclines (not many of those in Fl).
