That dude must make crazy money and not have much to pay for. My wife and I make pretty good cash, own a house, pay for our autos, and do what we want... but there is NO WAY I could throw down $20k on any car, and I'm 29 years old. I'm not saying these youger guys can't be making $80k and living in a shack or something, but jeez. I'd like to LEARN something from them if they have something worth while to teach!

Maybe he's using the Carlton Sheets real estate technique?

Saw the door mod in one of the mags didn't cost that much.
You can do it in you driveway too. Like to see it on my dad's
K-car. now that would be hot!

The Z is paid for--no loan. Keep in mind that this guy doesn't have any other living expenses and doesn't own anything but the car with mods. He lives with my sister in her townhouse that she owns and doesn't pay one cent. Everyone thinks, look at him he's rich just because of the car he has. Hell, if I didn't own a 200 grand home and 4 other vehicles (wifes car and 3 street bikes) I could be driving a car that would make his Z look ghetto. Some people just don't have the right priorities.

Yup... I was trying to put it kindly, by making someone else say it!

Yeah, not a great pic. It's a metallic silver to match the dash trim. You can tell the difference if you look at the black piece above it...

Naaaa, I'll pass on the plastic aluminum stick on crap. Now the scissor door is quite an idea. Seems like it would fit the car really well. Plus, it's a really easy fab. We've done it at the shop for a guy(Honda) Don't know why I never even considered it before. Thanx...

Our doors are about as square as you can get. Scissor doors won't look good.

I'm so custom that I'm going to shave the door handles, weld 'em shut and climb out the window....wait...oh no, the window is binding!!! And no inside hatch pop!!! I'm trapped!!!!
Friend: "So it's an SUV right?"
Me: "It's kinda like the spork of the automotive world...you get all the benifits of a spoon, plus lots of the benefits of a fork."
    Friend: "Oh."
