Thanks for all the input.
I asked a cop at my gym today and she said that there is written into the law something that syas it is illegal to modify any of the required "safety equiptmnet" on a vehicle. She felt it would be a ticketable offense.
But...she didnt say if she'd pull me over!!!

I'll put it on anyway.....what the H!!!!
