    power mode

    Does anyone know if its okay to drive in the power mode all the time (especially at highway speeds ?

    Yep. No problem. Power mode does not do anything that could damage the engine.

    thanks I thought it might put added strain on the engine or trans

    The "Power" button just changes the RPM shift point of the transmission. Upshift later, downshift earlier - too early IMHO.

    On the highway, you may notice the tranny shifts down way too easy and frequently.. I don't use it on the highway.... But, SURE do love it in the city

    It's safe to engage the POWER BUTTON and keep it engaged. I save gas with it on in the city, don't need it on the highway cruising, helps with passing on highway eg. ENGAGE to pass then DIS-ENGAGE IMO.
