What’s in a name?

I have had my VX for less than a year, and it still doesn’t have a proper name. A friend called it Izzy, my wife calls it my mistress for all the time I spend with it, and I generally refer to it as “the basket case”. Seriously, this thing is quite the pain in my @$$. Don’t get mine wrong, I love the VX and everything about it. Well, everything except the never ending issues.

I was thinking that it may not be feeling the love. Even with all of the work I have, and still have to put it into it. So I have decided to name it. The problem is that it hasn’t run well enough yet to let me get a feel for it. And maybe that’s the point.

I find it gorgeous to look at, even with the bad paint. It drives me insane with all of it’s of issues. It’s like dating a teen-aged girl with daddy issues. As I type this only one name really comes to mind, “Vixen”, as she has vexed me since I first laid eyes on her and nothing I do ever seems to be enough.

Am I crazy? LOL!
