I will be, hopefully, installing Old Man EMU shocks tomorrow. What should I do with the OEM VX shocks?

VX Status: Running Great! Build is coming along nicely...
Hang onto them for now. Make sure you like the new shocks AND make sure a reasonably-priced rebuilder doesn't pop up. Rare items off rare vehicles aren't the best thing to throw away.
2001 Ebony VX and 1989 Custom 383 Corvette
Thanks, maybe I will. I did notice that after pulled the springs, one has a nice curve in it. They are probably not worth saving, but I think I will hang on to the shocks for a while. Thanks again!![]()
Rebuild them. There is no other alternative.
I don’t know, the Old Man EMU’s are great so far.![]()
FYI...for shock rebuilds.
This outfit comes highly recommended by a fellow VX'er near me in So Cal...who's used them for
VX shocks as well as years of quads /dirt bikes etc.
