Sorry about the late message but I'm currently in alburqueue and about to head up to Moab tomorrow morning. What's the safest and most cell service covered route with the most places to pull over if I have a problem? I'm thinking 550 from albuquerque to shiprock which seems to have the most cell coverage and civilization, but then I'm a little concerned about how barren the area is for like the last 4 hours. How well traveled is it? If I break down, how long would it be before someone showed up? lol

Alright.... had to be sure. I went camping with a NY friend (never been camping!) a few years ago and I kept catching him txting his fiance, etc. After day 3, I threw his phone into the Atlantic.
