Hey guys, I've read a bunch of threads on the topic, but want to get some fresh advice. Engine froze up on me last night due to lack of oil (i just put a few quarts in a couple weeks ago before a long trip, but it still ate it all). I don't really want to do an OEM swap if I do plan to fix it, so I was thinking either the 3800 Series II or the ls4. At this point I've already dropped over $6k in it (in six months) with diff drops, exhaust, new wheels, lift, sound etc...So it's been a money hole and it just got a lot deeper. She's supercharged so if anyone wants the car or supercharger let me know.

It has all custom interior including paint job, new leather seats, dynamat and fully functional sun roof. Outside also has a paint job with matte black hood with white insert (proton by the way), and painted black on the roof. Front axle is essentially brand new. When I did the drop I got all new tie rods, bearings, seals, steering linkages and cvs. Unlockable hubs as well. Brand new 18inch Ion Alloy rims with 35 inch BFG mud terrains (40%) tread left. 912 coils in the back, torsion bars in the front. HID headlights as well.



Any input or interest in the car would be great. I have no idea what to do. I love the car but like I said it has been a vacuum for my money. With the exception of the transmission if you were to do the swap the car would be basically new. I got quoted for 4500-5000 for the engine job. With a good engine I would sell this thing for about 13k. SO I know it is not running, but subtract 5 grand from that and we are looking at about 8k. The supercharger itself is worth 2000 from what I have read. That's where I would start to sell. This vx is definitely unique and only 59,000 miles on it. Like I said, except for the engine, it's in great shape.
