Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Tone post a picture of this bar several months ago? Also, It might look neat, but you'll probably only have 2 mounting points, which after what happened to my Safari bar, has me thinking that any attaching brackets need some kind of triangular reinforcements welded in to support the 90 degree angle.

    TDAWG,

Were you able to get the Jaos bars from work?

Hey Bantan, are those dual exhaust tips functional? What mufflers are you using, and how's the sound?

Yes they are functional, made so by a baffle which diverts some of the co2 to the Passenger side tip. I went with the PV2 muffler and it sounds like a "Ferosious Beast".

    WOW! that price is insane!!!

If one of you guys wants to stop by the shop sometime I'm sure i could build something VERY similar for under half the price, and it would be designed to fit the VX. You'd have to take it to a chrome shop and have it dipped or paint it, but even then you'd be money ahead.

    Well peeps,
It's done! I ordered the jaos bar for a Rav4 and a CRV. Now I just have to wait and see what happens. Pep Boys special orders Department called me and asked why we ordered it and I told them that it would be nice to have 2 different displays of what we can get instead of just the normal Westin bars for Fords. They told me that they will have to cancel unless my Store Manager puts in the request so guess what happened.
I handed him the phone and he told them to go ahead and put the order through and then the girl said oh ok
so it is a go as soon as we get them in and we do a check for fit I'll post up the info. wish me luck.

    Talking You Rock!!

    TDAWG,

Can you post pics of the bars held up to the VX? I love it when a plan comes together. Also, were the skid bars high priced for Pep Boys? Just trying to figure out how much mula I have to save for this.

Oh yeah, tell your store manager that he's the SH!%.

Never heard anything back from TDAWG. I don't have my VX anymore so I'm not looking to buy this anymore.
