BUT, it's clear Jeep is doing things right on the Wrangler side. In November, I was in Moab without the VX and we decided to rent a Jeep. It was a 2013 two door Rubicon with a small lift, 35s and had 15K miles almost all trail. We ran Hello Kitty Canyon and it was great all around. My ONLY complaints were the stock windows in the doors sit very high and the hood is long making it hard to see the trail around you.
There's no reason to change much on the new JK, maybe just a facelift. It's clear they have accommodated the 4 wheeling crowd and appealed to the highway, bling crowd. The solid axles make the Wrangler unique to all of the "other" options. I'm shocked another company doesn't was to compete more by building a competing rig with a front solid axle.
