    Changing tranny fluid??

I noticed today the drain screw from my transmission pan has a leak.im going to try and fix it myself. Is there any reason to take the whole pan off? Or can I simply drain the fluid replace with a new drain screw, then fill? NOTE: I just replace pan gasket a couple months ago
and cleaned the pan really well of debris.
    Help much appreciated guys!

I would say no to taking the pan off.... Like you said, there is no reason. Just get a new copper washer and tighten down the plug good and proper tourqe

Oh so I don't have to order a special screw specifically meant for that?
