I think your problem must have been an earth leak 'cause I dreamt of skimpily clad ladies draped over my VX last night.
There was some throbbing and tingling going on here as well.
Looks like we had a 3 way connection.

Now that food has replaced sex in my life -
I can't even get into my own pants!!
So, I figured out a new use of all that metal on top of my Vehicross. It fits my Dagger Blackwater II like it was made for it. It has a foam roller on the end so I can pick up one end and place it on the roller, then pick up the other end and push it up on top. There is a bar that hooks into the front receiver hitch and supports part of the weight of the kayak and provides one of the locks for it. It does make it a little hard to check under the hood, but I cut a piece of wood to prop it open when the kayak is on top. Luckily my Vehicross is one that doesn't burn oil. It may look like overkill but I needed a rack that would last for thousands of miles. I tow the Vehicross on a trailer behind my motorhome, so it has to be a lot stronger than just carrying down to the local pond.
Right now, I am in New York and so far so good. The only trouble is it is too cold or windy to use the kayak.

This is how I roll my kayak up on the rack. Since my hernia operation I am limited to 65lbs in lifting. Kayak weighs 80lbs. Necessity is the mother of invention.

Greetings, Earthling. We come in peace... Never mind "Paris to Dakar", the VehiCROSS looks ready for the Martian desert.
Funniest thing I've read in a long while...thanks for putting a smile on my face!......I needed it!
