Flying, I would like to see a pic. That is what I am thinking.

I just my soft case so I dont scratch it up.

I carry a Beretta M9A1 compact which is still pretty big and heavy for being a compact.

WoW! Another Beretta fan, wahoo! Hubby and I are BIG fans!
I have the 92FS - Compact - Type M...it's a single stack (8 rds) version of your M9. Handle is significantly thinner and leaner.

Being in AZ, there's virtually no rules/restrictions on carry, so we can carry them anywhere. I got this seat holster. It fits a variety of sizes from my Tomcat, Cheetahs, Cougar, 92FS Purple Duracoat full size, and the Type M.
It works out pretty good, certainly can get to it a lot faster than under the seat where I was carrying it.

Funny, just used this holster yesterday. Dave had a problem on his dirtbike about 35 miles away, way the H311 out in the boonies (Billy -past the Aqua Fria National Monument, into Tonto N.F.) so I drove his FJ (cuz I don't have a VX anymore) to go get him. So here I am a female alone driving DEEP INTO the trail/mountains....passing numerous ATVs/sxs "guys".....hmmmmm.....glad I had my little Italian friend close by, just in case!

I also use a Pelican case cause when we go off on trails around here in the sxs there's so much dust!

I haven't heard of the under the steering wheel style you were talking about...sounds interesting.....have a link?
