    Crankshaft Seal

Just installed a new front Crankshaft/Oil Pump Seal along with two new cam gear seals. It was all pretty straight forward. But the reason for posting was just in case any one had a front oil seal leak and thought that they would have to change out the whole oil pump. This is what I thought, lots of work, but changing out that seal isn't a whole lot more then just doing a timing belt change. Anyway, most probably already knew this but for anyone who didn't just FYI.

Good of you to post. I had considered doing this very thing back a few months ago to stop, what i thought, may be the oil leak i had. Turns out, i saved my money, and am replacing the engine for a multitude of reasons...not because i had a leaking crank seal
Might give the forum a small write up of what all was involved.
