Hello folks. I have a friend of mine here ( and I do too) that has a question.
Why was the Vehicross discontinued and no longer produced?
It might sound like an easy question to answer but unfortunately , i dont know it.
Thanks guys.

The VX was meant to be a limited production vehicle from its invention. The tooling for the parts were made in a way as to only allow a certain amount of parts (body parts) to be made. It was not technically "discontinued"...it was meant to be that way!

Correct. The dies for the body panels were ceramic, which degrade over a period of time.
Besides, I've read somewhere that they've assembled VX by hand - so you can just imagine what was the labor cost.... I doubt that Isuzu has made any money on VX.
VX was a lucky one of a very few prototypes which "saw the light of day" ... to out mutual enjoyment
