That is exactly what the issue was. 4X lever was in the neutral position and as soon as I dropped it back into 4-hi she went into gear just fine. Reverse, Drive

When it happened to me , I was 75 miles from home..
...like you , sick to my stomach ( and a monster towing fee to boot)
Once home, I used a lifeline..and called a friend...
...he nailed it in one.. he'd done it too!!!
SO glad that was the cure
